We need to establish healthy habits and daily routines to get the results we desire.
Our skin is a microclimate of ‘good bacteria’ necessary to regulate our skin, fight infection and retain moisture. However, with the increasing use of synthetics, preservatives, parabens and sulphates in traditional skincare, our skin’s natural healing and pH balancing abilities can be dramatically decreased, as good bacteria are stripped, and moisture levels depleted.
Dry skin occurs when your skin doesn’t retain enough moisture, often due to harsh surfactants stripping good bacteria from your skin, change of season, lack of humidity, aging and genetics. Dry skin can present red, raw, itchy, inflamed and irritated. We believe if we can restore your skin’s microbiome naturally using medical grade Manuka & Kanuka honey, that your skin’s barrier will be more resilient, locking in internal moisture and greatly improving cell turnover to improve the skin’s appearance.

Stay hydrated! You've heard it a million times, but it really is so important for skin health. If you struggle drinking enough water each day, try this: fill a 1.5 litre bottle with water, then mark the bottle with two hour time slots about two inches inch apart. This way you can keep track of how much you should have drunk by 10am, 12pm, 2pm etc. Sometimes a little bit of accountability goes a long way!
